FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

      Children as young as 6 are welcome to play! There is no end range to squash. This is a game for life! 
- 
      
      Basic athleticism is important for anyone's enjoyment. Many of the skills can be learned or transferred from other sports. In many cases all that is required is a willingness to move.

      Yes, all junior clinics are reevaluated seasonally and comprised of players of a similar skill level. 
- 
      
      It often depends on the level of play, novice players typically play 1-2 times each week. Advanced players look to practice 5-6 days. This can always be tailored to your schedule and goals!

      The basic lesson or clinic is formatted with a warm-up, introduction of a skill, basic execution of that skill, followed by a more dynamic execution. More often than not, a class will end with a matchplay or a fun game. Often, there is a fitness component.

      The highest you will find is a 1-6 coach-to-play ratio. Typically, classes are smaller than this.

      Usually, an assessment lesson is appropriate for someone new to the program. This ensures you are placed with the right level of peers with which to play.

      We have seasonal box leagues, along with an end of season tournament. Additionally, we host a junior US Squash tournament and a Pro event each season.

      We have racquets and goggles for sale! There is no formal Pro shop but the program has a deal with Harrow that we extend to our players. To purchase Burnt Squash merchandise or squash equipment, please reach out!
